Lisa meets her former partner, Dan, and recalls the context of their separation. As they go back up the course of the river and of their story, Lisa confronts Dan about what happened between them.

The short film explores the impact of a non-consensual act within an intimate relationship, and the complex figures of aggressor and victim, torn between their deep attachment to one another and the act that makes love between them no longer possible.
